The "Russia in Miniature" park in Bor is temporarily closing.

The "Russia in Miniature" park in Bor is temporarily closing. As project representatives reported on social media, the reason is a sharp decline in attendance. Let us remind you, the park opened near the "Borskaya" station of the Nizhny Novgorod cable car in June of this year. Its exhibition features more than 80 miniature copies of iconic architectural objects of Russia: the models are made to a scale of 1:50 and allow visitors to get acquainted with the country's attractions in a compact format. The flow of guests was significantly affected by the suspension of the cable car between Nizhny Novgorod and Bor - it has not been operating since July 5 after an incident. Since the ferry was one of the main ways to reach the park, the number of visitors noticeably decreased after its closure. Under these conditions, the project management deemed further operations impractical.
The exhibition will remain open until August 15 inclusive. The park plans to resume operations in May of next year, depending on the possible restoration of cable car service.
