      The draw participants included 11 political parties whose federal candidate lists had previously been registered. "The first line on the ballot is a pleasant formality, but the main thing is real results. The new People's Program, to which residents from all over the country contributed proposals — only Nizhny Novgorod residents sent more than 190,000 initiatives — will serve as a guideline. It is important to remember this responsibility to voters and consistently achieve the set goals," noted State Duma deputy, head of the Volga Interregional Coordination Council of the "United Russia" party Roman Lyubarsky. Recall that at the first stage of the XXIII Congress of "United Russia," which took place on June 28 in Moscow with the participation of President Vladimir Putin, the party nominated candidates for deputies of the State Duma of the IX convocation — more than 600 people.
