The route of the Nizhny Novgorod tram No. 2 will be shortened due to restrictions on Ilyinka.

      On August 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, traffic will be restricted on Ilyinskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod, as reported by the city's transport department. This is related to the holding of a religious procession (0+) on the Day of Remembrance of the Holy Prophet Elijah. The section from Nizhny Street to house No. 9 on Ilyinka will be closed for passage. For the same reason, trams No. 2 will temporarily operate between Chyorny Prud and Kulibin Street via Belinka.

      It was previously reported that on August 1, tram No. 2 will suspend operations due to the laying of new asphalt in the area of Sennaya Square.
