The competition for the expansion of the Novo-Striginsky cemetery has been announced for the fourth time.
On July 30, 2026, at 16:03, the MKU "Main Department for Capital Construction" has once again announced a procurement for the construction of the second phase of the municipal cemetery "Novo-Striginskoye."
The initial contract price remains the same - 347.6 million rubles. Applications for participation are accepted until August 17, and the results are planned to be summarized on August 19.
The project provides for an increase in the area by more than 19 hectares. On this area, it is planned to create 20,644 burial places. Currently, the site consists of land populated with birch and aspen along the southern, southwestern, and southeastern sides of the cemetery. There are no buildings or engineering networks.
The deadline for the work is set from the date of contract signing until December 20, 2030, in accordance with the schedule.
It should be noted that the MKU has been trying to find a contractor since April. The first time, no applications were submitted for the competition. On the second attempt, one participant appeared, the bidding was recognized as valid, and a contract was planned to be signed; however, the winner evaded signing it. The third competition at the end of June also ended without applications.
Earlier, it was reported that video cameras were installed at the Novo-Sormovsky, Novo-Striginsky, Striginsky cemeteries, and the Koposovo-Vysokovo cemetery.
