"Meteors" will start running from Nizhny Novgorod to Perm.

      The company "Vodoley" is launching regular composite flights of hydrofoil vessels "Meteor 120R" on the route Nizhny Novgorod – Kazan – Sarapul – Perm. This was reported by the company's press service on July 17, 2026. The first flight of the 2026 navigation season will depart from Nizhny Novgorod to Kazan on July 27. The route will then continue to Sarapul and Perm, connecting the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Mari El Republic, the Chuvash Republic, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, and the Perm Krai with high-speed river communication. Stops for boarding and disembarking passengers are planned along the route. On the section Kazan – Sarapul, the vessel will make stops in Chistopol, Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga, and Naberezhnye Chelny. After arriving in Sarapul, an overnight stay for the vessel is planned. The next day, the flight will continue on the route Sarapul – Perm with stops in Chaykovsky, Ust-Kachka, and Krasnokamsk. After arriving in Perm, an overnight stay is also planned, after which the vessel will depart on the return trip along the route Perm – Sarapul – Kazan with stops in settlements along the way. It is noted that such a composite route will allow passengers to travel both between the final points and between intermediate stops, expanding the possibilities of high-speed river communication and domestic tourism.
