On July 14, 2026, at 17:14, the Supreme Qualification Collegium of Judges (VKKC) approved the candidacy of Leonid Lomivorotov for the position of Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Currently, 41-year-old Leonid Lomivorotov holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the Tomsk Region.

It should be noted that the position of head of the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region remains vacant after the previous chairman, Roman Saninsky, resigned in 2025. Until a new leader is appointed, the duties of the court chairman continue to be performed by Georgy Fedorychev.

The previous head of the Nizhny Novgorod supervisory agency, Andrey Travkin, left the position in March 2026.
