The instruction from the head of state states that this discipline will be part of the socio-humanitarian section of the "fundamental core" of educational programs. Students within this discipline will study the constitutional status of the Russian language and the country's language policy.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education, Valery Falkov, has been appointed responsible for the implementation of this instruction. He must present a report on the work done by December 1, 2029.
