1035 illegal migrants were delivered by the bailiffs of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region to the checkpoint through the state border of the Russian Federation in the first 6 months of 2026. The foreign citizens lacked documents confirming their right to temporarily reside and work in our country.
Thus, last week, the service staff deported 22 citizens from Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. The basis for this was the court rulings issued under part 1 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation."
The illegal migrants awaited their deportation at the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Citizens. After the necessary documents were processed, the bailiffs of the OUPDS accompanied them to the checkpoint through the state border of the Russian Federation and officially handed them over to the border service officers of the FSB of Russia. Now, for the violators, entry into our country is closed for the next five years.
