"I am tired of defeats": Shpilevsky on his dismissal from "Pary NN"

      Former head coach of "Pari NN" Alexey Shpilevsky talked about how he perceived his dismissal from the Nizhny Novgorod club three rounds before the end of the season. In an interview with "Sportsu," the specialist admitted that by that time he was emotionally exhausted due to a series of the team's failures. According to Shpilevsky, a coach must always be ready for dismissal. At the same time, he did not see much sense in changing the coach just a few rounds before the championship ended, despite the team's results in April. The hardest part, the specialist admitted, was the constant defeats.

      "I am very tired of the defeats. My son asked me, 'Dad, did you lose again?' After that, my conscience torments me, I feel guilty, including in front of him," Shpilevsky said.

      The coach also explained why he agreed to lead "Pari NN" last summer. He said that after failed negotiations with several clubs, he wanted to return to work as soon as possible. Despite warnings from his assistants about the difficulty of the task, the specialist accepted the offer from the Nizhny Novgorod team.
