The investor purchased four historical buildings in the center of Nizhny Novgorod.

      On July 8, 2026, at 15:39 Culture and Leisure, a lot consisting of four historical buildings was sold in the center of Nizhny Novgorod, including the identified cultural heritage site "House of the Merchant Y.K. Rybin." This was reported by Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov on his Max channel.

      The buildings are located at 37a Alekseevskaya Street and 16, 18a, and 18/39 in Kholodny Lane. All the properties are over a hundred years old. They were put up for auction in June 2026 by the State Unitary Enterprise "Regnedvizhimost."

      The starting price of the lot was 23.26 million rubles. Five companies participated in the auction. During the bidding, there were 14 bids, resulting in the price increasing by almost 65% — to 38.37 million rubles. The winner was recognized as LLC "OKTAVA."

      According to Polyakov, the investor plans to complete the adaptation of the cultural heritage site for modern use within three years.

      "The investor plans to complete the adaptation of the cultural heritage site for modern use within 3 years. All four properties can become part of a comprehensive project, including the creation of hotel infrastructure," added the deputy governor.

      Earlier, the head of the region, Gleb Nikitin, reported that since 2018, more than 870 cultural heritage sites have been restored in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
