The major repair of the sidewalk on Shkolnaya Street was carried out under the state program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The total funding for the "It's up to you!" project amounted to over 2.8 million rubles, including funds from the regional and local budgets. Residents contributed 30,000 rubles. As a result, 242 meters of asphalt pavement were renewed. The work was completed within two months. The head of the local government of the Bolshoboldinsky municipal district, Alla Morozova, reported that flowers are planned to be planted along the sidewalk. She handed over rose seedlings to the initiative group and planted the first shrub. From July 1 to September 1, 2026, residents of Nizhny Novgorod can apply to participate in the "It's up to you!" project on the website VAM.GOLOSZA.RU in eight areas, including "Our Roads," "Our Yard," "Sports for All!", "Happy Family," "Public Spaces," "Our Infrastructure," "Our Initiative," and "Youth Policy." Another sidewalk, 517 meters long, was arranged in Bolshoy Boldin under the program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment." The total cost of the project exceeded 3.1 million rubles, of which more than 1.3 million rubles were allocated from the prize fund of the Bolshoboldinsky municipal district following the results of the review-competition "Best Municipal Formation of Nizhny Novgorod Region in the Field of Improvement and Road Activities."

      The national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. It aims to provide citizens with socially significant infrastructure of new quality and includes 11 federal projects, including "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment," "Modernization of Utility Infrastructure," "Housing," "Development of Infrastructure in Settlements," "New Construction Rhythm," "Central Transport Hub," "Road Safety," "Regional Roads," "Federal Highways," "Development of Road Economy," and "Public Transport."
