The best pedigree cows were determined at the exhibition "Field Day - 2026" in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
Experts evaluated animals of Holstein and Brown Swiss breeds from 26 agricultural enterprises in the region. The leaders in the first breed group were the cows of LLC "PZ Pushkinskoye". In the second group, it was JSC "Semyanskoye".
The best specialist who presented the animals in the arena was recognized as Dmitry Gorbunov, an employee of JSC "Ilyino-Zaborskoye". The jury assessed the quality of the cow's demonstration, its preparation, and training.
At the exhibition, there was also a competition for the precise driving of the tractor "Belarus-82". The leader among agricultural workers was Konstantin Fadeev from JSC "Teplichnoye", and among students, it was Kirill Molochkov from Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Technical University. It is worth noting that Nizhny Novgorod agricultural enterprises increased their export volume threefold in 2026.
