      June 24, 2026 17:46 Society The head of the Prioksky district, Mikhail Shatilov, expressed condolences to the families of those who died as a result of a massive drone attack in Nizhny Novgorod. The politician published his statement on social media.

      Recall that on the night of June 23 to 24, 23 enemy drones were shot down over the Nizhny Novgorod region. A residential building caught fire, resulting in the deaths of two people. Two more injured individuals were taken to the hospital, and their lives are not in danger.

      Specialists discovered localized damage to residential and industrial infrastructure. The scale of the consequences of the drone attack is currently being assessed. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has organized an investigation, and the prosecutor's office is monitoring the observance of the rights of the victims.

      Mikhail Shatilov revealed that the deceased were residents of the Kstovo district of Nizhny Novgorod. The district head also wished a speedy recovery to those who were hospitalized.
