      Nizhny Novgorod Region won six awards at the international MVP Awards 2026. The award ceremony for the anniversary, tenth award in the field of sports marketing and communications took place on June 10 in Moscow. In 2026, 1,600 projects were submitted for the competition, of which 222 reached the finals. The teams of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "TSURS" and the hockey club "Torpedo" received six awards - one gold, three silver, and two bronze. Another silver award in the category "Best Project for Promoting Sports and a Healthy Lifestyle" was awarded to the community "Women's Amateur Football of Nizhny Novgorod Region." HC "Torpedo" won gold in the category "Best Club Television Work" for a series of promotional videos. The club also received two silver awards: for "Best Sponsorship Activation" - a series of anniversary matches with the partner OMK and for "Best Merch" - a joint collection of clothing "Place of Power" with the brand "Soul," dedicated to the club's new home arena - VOLGA Arena. The Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "TSURS" received a silver award in the category "Best Matchday" for the concept of the "Chemical Derby" - the home match of FC "Khimik" against FC "Amkar." Two more awards - bronze - were won by the organization for the project "Together for Nizhny" in the category "Best Design of Game Uniform" and in the category "Best Project for Working with Young Audiences." The bronze award for working with young audiences was awarded to the metaverse "Sporting Nizhny Novgorod." The project was implemented by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Center 800," the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "TSURS," and the Ministry of Sports of Nizhny Novgorod Region. Nizhny Novgorod became the first Russian city to create its own virtual world for communication with youth.
