      On June 12, 2026, at 09:40, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, a solemn ceremony was held for the issuance of temporary residence permits to citizens of foreign countries. The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of Russia Day. As reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, documents were received by two citizens of Germany, as well as citizens of Bulgaria and the USA. They moved under the so-called "traditional values visa." One of the German citizens, a native of the Kazakh SSR, decided to move to Russia - to his mother's homeland. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, he started a family and is raising a daughter with his wife. Another German citizen arrived in Russia with her family in 2024. Her parents and brothers have already obtained temporary residence permits, and now she has received her document along with her minor child. The girl's father runs a construction business in the region, and she plans to work with him. According to her, the feeling of safety and the presence of conditions for a decent life and raising a child are important to her. The Bulgarian citizen has been living in Nizhny Novgorod for about ten years. Here he started a family with a Russian woman, and the couple is raising a nine-year-old daughter. The American citizen has also tied his life to Russia. Together with his wife, he is raising a seven-year-old daughter.
