The road in Zhdanovskoye will be transferred from private ownership to municipal ownership.

      On June 9, 2026, at 10:37, Society The Kstovo City Court ordered the transfer of the road in Zhdanovskoye from private ownership to municipal ownership. This was reported by the press service of the regional court. The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit in the interests of 11 residents of the village against a private individual and the administration of Nizhny Novgorod. The supervisory authority demanded to recognize the absence of private ownership rights to the land plot, terminate the record about it in the Unified State Register of Real Estate (EGRN), and obligate the municipality to accept the territory into its ownership. The land plot in question is over 6,300 square meters. According to documents, it is designated for warehouses and bases and is in private ownership. However, in fact, this is the only access road—Lugovaya Street—to the residential houses. All residents use the road, and it is impossible to use this plot separately. Since the road is listed as private property, the administration cannot fully maintain it: carry out repairs, clear snow, install lighting, and ensure traffic safety. The court granted the prosecutor's claim. The citizen's ownership rights to the plot were recognized as absent, and the record in the EGRN will be terminated. The administration of Nizhny Novgorod was obliged to accept the road into municipal ownership within six months after the termination of the private individual's registration rights. The decision has not yet entered into legal force. Earlier, it was reported that a roundabout would be built at the entrance to Nizhny Novgorod from the side of Kstovo.
