This was reported by a correspondent from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." The official was detained in December 2025 on charges of receiving a bribe for facilitating the organization of illegal parking. According to the investigation, from February to September 2025, Egorov received 120,000 rubles through an intermediary from an individual entrepreneur and a commercial organization. The case concerns parking on Kosmicheskaya, Admiral Nakhimov, and 40 Years of Victory streets. The contract was concluded with the director of LLC GK "Nizhny Novgorod Partner" and an entrepreneur working in the construction materials sector. Permits were issued; however, the investigation believes that Egorov later demanded cash payments and the contracts to be terminated. Throughout the investigation, the former official was under house arrest. Today in court, he stated that he realized what had happened and repented, but asked not to impose an actual prison sentence. It is worth noting that the prosecution requested 3.5 years in a general regime colony for Egorov, a fine, and a ban on holding positions in public service.
