In Nizhny Novgorod, activists from "United Russia" checked the safety of yard sports grounds.
In the run-up to the summer school holidays, activists from the United Russia party conducted a monitoring of the condition of yard sports grounds in Nizhny Novgorod. The inspection was organized as part of the party project "People's Deputy." Special attention was paid to the safety of the facilities, the quality of their maintenance, and their demand among residents.
The first facility inspected was the sports ground at house No. 1 on Telegrafnaya Street, which was renovated last year at the request of local residents. During the inspection, the monitoring participants assessed the condition of the sports equipment, surface, and landscaping elements.
"As we can see, the ground is in good condition. This is a universal sports facility that allows children to engage in physical culture and sports throughout the year. Quality control of the completed work is carried out strictly, and the warranty period for the facility is five years," noted Acting Director of the GTO small sports facilities institution, Ekaterina Lyovkina.
The ground is equipped with basketball stands, as well as goals for mini-football and hockey.
"The development of mass sports and physical culture is one of the key priorities of the People's Program of United Russia. That is why I have repeatedly advocated for conducting systematic monitoring of yard sports grounds. Today, in the run-up to the summer holidays, activists within the framework of the party project 'People's Deputy' checked the facilities on Telegrafnaya and Zaprudnaya Streets. It is important to ensure that existing grounds are functional and absolutely safe for children. As the inspection showed, the equipment is securely fastened, the surface is in order—this means the risk of injury is excluded, and parents can be at ease," noted the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Rustam Dosayev.
The next monitoring point was the sports ground located at: Zaprudnaya Street, house 1. Previously, an outdated tennis court was located there. At the initiative of residents, the area was modernized and transformed into a modern multifunctional sports space.
Today, it is equipped with a hockey box, basketball stands, and football and hockey goals. The ground is actively used by local residents and is popular among children and teenagers.
The results of the monitoring were summarized by the deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, regional coordinator of sports projects for the United Russia party, Vladimir Poddymnikov-Gordeev.
"During the inspection, no visible violations were found. It is important that the grounds are in demand among residents and are regularly used for sports activities. Conditions have been created at the facilities for conducting training and organizing active leisure for children and teenagers. We also checked the condition of the football goals—they are securely fastened at both grounds and meet safety requirements," he emphasized.
According to the deputy, conducting such monitoring allows for timely control of the state of sports infrastructure and ensuring safe conditions for physical culture activities during the summer holidays.
