En+ expands its participation in the "Professionalism" project: the first energy cluster in the region will be created in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On June 9, 2026, at 10:27, Society Company "En+ Teplo Volga" and the Nizhny Novgorod Technical School of Urban Economy and Entrepreneurship (NTGKhEP) joined the federal project "Professionalism." The first educational cluster in the region in the field of "Energy" will be established based on the technical school. In addition to NTGKhEP, six more secondary vocational education institutions in the region will be part of the cluster. The project aims to prepare personnel for the energy sector through a practice-oriented approach, modernization of infrastructure, and guaranteed employment for graduates. The creation of the cluster will help address one of the key challenges in the region's industry—the shortage of qualified specialists capable of working with modern equipment. The new format implies close integration of education and real production. Already today, the technical school, together with "En+ Teplo Volga," is training specialists in the fields of "Heat Supply and Thermal Equipment" and "Electric Stations, Networks, and Their Relay Protection and Automation." Next year, the energy cluster will be expanded, and the number of educational programs in energy will reach nine. "Winning the competition will allow us to create the first energy technical school in the Nizhny Novgorod region and establish a system of practice-oriented training in collaboration with industry enterprises. Thanks to cooperation with the regional government and educational institutions, a program focused on real production tasks has already been formed. Training will take place on modern equipment with the participation of company specialists. By 2029, it is planned to prepare more than 200 specialists in nine professions. En+'s investments of over 40 million rubles will be directed towards creating workshops, laboratories, and updating the material and technical base, which will help strengthen the industry's personnel potential and enhance the prestige of working professions," said Natalia Albrecht, Deputy General Director for Personnel Management at En+ and Rusal. The project includes the modernization of the technical school's educational infrastructure: a modern educational-production complex (EPC), workshops, and laboratories with modern equipment that fully corresponds to real production will be created. This will allow students to acquire relevant practical skills even during their studies. En+ and Rusal are among the largest investors in "Professionalism." The companies already have successful experience in organizing practice-oriented training: they participate in 14 clusters, where training is conducted in specialties in energy, metallurgy, coal, digital, and other industries based on 32 colleges and technical schools.
