A new drone delivery route will be tested in Nizhny Novgorod.

      June 9, 2026 09:04 Society Starting June 9, tests of a new air delivery route for small cargoes between Kostina and Golubeva streets (Nizhny Novgorod and Lenin districts) will begin in Nizhny Novgorod, reported the ANO "Gorky Tech." Flights will be carried out within the framework of the experimental legal regime currently in place in the Nizhny Novgorod region, which allows for the testing of drone technologies in real conditions. Air couriers will operate between the two points under the control of specialists and in compliance with all safety requirements. The devices are equipped with modern navigation systems, a parachute module, and light signaling devices. In addition, test flights will continue in the city along the routes Kostina Street - Geologists Street and Kostina Street - Comintern Street. The development of air delivery services is part of the work on the implementation of drone technologies in the civilian sector and aligns with the objectives of the national project "Unmanned Aerial Systems."
