The winners of the V Telefilm Forum "New Reality" were awarded in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On May 28, 2026, at 20:00, the Society held a solemn closing ceremony for the V International Telefilm Forum "New Reality" (16+), during which the winners and laureates of the competition were announced.

      Let us remind you that the forum started on May 25. Nizhny Novgorod has hosted it for the second consecutive year. Over several days, the "Record" cultural center held open film screenings, professional discussions, and master classes featuring well-known representatives of the media industry. In particular, the host of the "Vremya" program on Channel One, Ekaterina Andreeva, spoke to the forum participants.

      At the closing ceremony, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, noted that it is a great honor for the region to host a federal-level telefilm forum. He expressed hope that Nizhny Novgorod will continue to be a venue for "New Reality" in the coming years.

      The chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia, Vladimir Solovyov, thanked the governor and the regional government for their support of the forum. According to him, each year, more and more television channels and studios from different regions of the country participate in the event, which indicates significant potential for further expansion of the project.

      This year, we received over 200 works from all corners of Russia, as well as from brotherly countries—Belarus and Abkhazia. The quality of films and programs is constantly improving, and the jury felt this while reviewing the participants. Everyone who made it to the finals today can consider themselves winners. I am confident that next year the geography of the forum will become even broader. We look forward to seeing everyone in Nizhny Novgorod! — said the chairman of the Union of Journalists.

      During the ceremony, the winners and laureates of the telefilm forum were announced. In particular, the diploma for the "Best Documentary Film" nomination was awarded to Nizhny Novgorod resident Mikhail Buzikhin for the film "KGB Legend. Yuri Danilov." Earlier, NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" published a piece about the book dedicated to Yuri Danilov, authored by Vadim Andryukhin, a researcher of special services and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Novoe Delo."
