Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren will have the opportunity to spend "Holidays with Knowledge."

Within the framework of the project "Holidays with Knowledge," lectures, quizzes, master classes, and other educational events will take place in children's camps over three months, aligning with the goals and objectives of the national project "Youth and Children." Among the topics of the meetings are career guidance, history, patriotism, ecology, culture, health, science and technology, digital and financial literacy, and much more. The central theme of the summer campaign will be lectures dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in 2026. Events will also be held on commemorative dates, including Russia Day, Family, Love and Fidelity Day, State Flag Day, and others. Importantly, veterans of the Special Military Operation will also serve as lecturers as part of the "I Serve the Fatherland" initiative. "The kids have a strong demand for acquiring new knowledge even during the summer holidays. Therefore, for several years, our lecturers have become regular guests in children's camps. They share their knowledge, conduct creative master classes and sports training, and help the younger generation develop critical thinking and broaden their horizons. Based on the results of previous years, we see that children return home not only rested but also inspired for new achievements — this is our main task," noted Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Society "Knowledge." A key format for organizing educational activities during the summer shifts will be "Day with Knowledge" — a constructor of ready-made interactive activities and a set of methodological materials that allow counselors and organizing teachers to create a rich program for the thematic day by combining various activities. Lectures and quizzes, film screenings, and intellectual games are offered for use. The materials include presentations, videos, handouts, ready-made lesson plans, and methodological recommendations. Among the new formats is the creation of literary clubs within the "Reading Programs" project based in school health camps and general education schools of All-Russian Children's Centers. To participate, it is necessary to register a literary club, conduct classes, earn points, and participate in the club rankings. The top five clubs will receive sets of branded products, and the next 40 in the ranking will gain access to the closed course "Secrets of the Speaker with Nina Zvereva." Additionally, the "Holidays with Knowledge" project includes materials for counselors aimed at developing their professional competencies. It is worth noting that last year, more than 8,000 events of the "Holidays with Knowledge" project took place, with 330,000 schoolchildren participating across the country.
