A passenger sued Russian Railways for 50,000 rubles for falling at the station in Navashino.

      On May 23, 2026, at 17:30, the Navashinsky District Court ordered RZD to pay compensation for a passenger's fall at the station in Navashino. This was reported by the press service of the regional court.

      The injured party filed a lawsuit against JSC "RZD" and JSC "VVPPK" for compensation for moral damages. The court established that in November 2023, when the woman was exiting the suburban electric train at the railway station in Navashino, she slipped on ice. In the fall, her right leg became wedged between the platform and the train car.

      According to the medical report, the injuries sustained were classified as minor harm to health.

      The plaintiff assessed the physical and moral suffering caused to her at 300,000 rubles. The court partially satisfied her claims. Compensation for moral damages in the amount of 50,000 rubles was awarded from JSC "RZD". The claim against JSC "VVPPK" was denied. The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
