Defender Andrey Salnikov extended his contract with Nizhny Novgorod's "Chaika".

      Defender Andrey Salnikov will continue to play in the "Torpedo" system. The new two-way contract is for one season. The 19-year-old Salnikov joined the youth team at the end of January and quickly adapted to the squad. In total, he played 16 matches for the "white-blues," scoring 2 points (1+1). The defender's plus/minus rating was "+4." Together with the Nizhny Novgorod team, the hockey player became a bronze medalist in the MHL.
