63 Nizhny Novgorod teachers underwent training to work in agritech classes.

On May 10, 2026, at 10:31, Society63, school teachers from the Nizhny Novgorod region completed advanced training courses titled "Project Activities in Agrotechnological Classes: From Idea to Practical Result" based at the "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Institute of Management and Economics of the Agro-Industrial Complex."

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Nikolai Denisov, reminded that last year, 12 agrotechnological classes were opened in the region as part of the federal project "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex" of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security," initiated by President Vladimir Putin.

"This year, we plan to open eight more agrotechnological classes. In addition, we will allocate funds to reimburse industrial partners for part of the expenses on the repair and equipping of specialized classrooms, as well as for incentive payments to teachers. Furthermore, two million rubles have been allocated from the regional budget for the training of teachers in agrotechnological classes. The educators who acquire new competencies will apply them in practice, contributing to the formation of a new generation of specialists ready for the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex in our region," Nikolai Denisov said.

Within the course "Project Activities in Agrotechnological Classes: From Idea to Practical Result," special attention was paid to the practical aspects of project implementation: from idea generation and planning to its realization. An important component of the training was the development of skills for interaction with social partners—representatives of the agro-industrial complex, scientific organizations, and other specialized structures, which is key for the successful integration of students into the real industry.

At the final stage, teachers presented their final works to the regional commission—developments aimed at increasing the efficiency of project activities in agrotechnological classes. Among the presented works were projects for creating school greenhouses, developing innovative methods for growing agricultural crops, organizing excursions to agro-industrial enterprises, as well as implementing digital technologies in agriculture.

"We see how interest in agrotechnological education is growing in schools in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This advanced training program is designed to equip our teachers with modern tools and methodologies so that they can effectively develop project thinking, research skills, and interest in future professions in the agro-industrial complex among students. The successful defense of projects is a vivid confirmation that our educators are ready for new challenges and can inspire their students to achieve high results," noted Elena Yakovleva, rector of the NRIUE APC.
