8 knife stabs: a resident of Sharanga will be tried for murder and attempting to conceal a body.

      On May 5, 2026, at 18:08, Incidents: A 23-year-old local resident will stand trial in the working settlement of Sharanga, accused of murder. This was reported by the Nizhny Novgorod prosecutor's office. According to the investigation, in September 2025, a conflict arose on the premises along Gorky Street between the accused and a 47-year-old local resident, stemming from personal animosity. During the quarrel, the accused inflicted at least eight stab wounds to the vital organs of his opponent. The victim died at the scene from the injuries sustained. The investigation also established that after the incident, the accused attempted to conceal the traces of the crime. He disposed of the knife used in the attack, hid the body in his garage, and then transported it to the territory of the Mari El Republic, leaving it by the roadside.

      Currently, the criminal case has been sent to court for substantive consideration.
