The acceptance of applications for the IV All-Russian competition "Blue Scarf-2026" has begun.

      On May 2, 2026, at 11:53 Culture and Leisure, Nizhny Novgorod residents are invited to participate in the IV All-Russian competition of creative works "Blue Scarf-2026". The event is dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The competition is organized by the charitable foundation "Russian Land" with the support of the Association of Veterans of the Special Military Operation (SMO).

      The competition aims to preserve and popularize the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia, the multinational contribution to Victory both during the Great Patriotic War and in the modern period, and to support the creative initiatives of composers, designers, and artists. Special attention is given to the participation of veterans and servicemen of the SMO, as well as their family members, for the purposes of social adaptation, creative self-realization, and preservation of historical memory.

      The main nominations of the competition are:

      — a model of an author's scarf on the theme of the multinational contribution to Victory, including the modern contribution of defenders of the Fatherland;

      — a model using the artistic and stylistic features of folk crafts and the cultural code of the territory;

      — a model on the theme of Family, Love, and Fidelity Day;

      — a hymn (song) of the action and program "Blue Scarf".

      Artists, designers, composers, as well as participants of the SMO and their family members (age limit - from 14 years) are invited to participate. Applications are accepted on the website until July 31, 2026, inclusive.

      The results of the competition will be announced after September 1, 2026. Winners will be awarded diplomas and memorable prizes - author's scarves.
