      Two declarations of conformity for meat products have been revoked from two Nizhny Novgorod producers (LLC "Amedi Volga" and LLC "Kulebaksky Meat Processing Plant") in March 2026. This was reported by the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor management for the Nizhny Novgorod region and the republics of Mari El and Mordovia. The basis for this action was gross violations of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union: residues of veterinary drugs—dinitrocarbanilide and monensin—were found in the product samples. Both drugs belong to the group of coccidiostats—medications used for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in poultry, pigs, and cattle, and are also added to feed to stimulate growth.

      The producers have been warned about the inadmissibility of violating veterinary legislation.
