Former deputy Minkail Saidov was killed in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On March 27, 2026, at 16:37, Incidents: Former municipal deputy Minkail Saidov was shot dead in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the regional Investigative Committee, a criminal case has been initiated (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

      According to official information, the body of the 60-year-old man with gunshot wounds was discovered the day before, on March 26, in his cottage in Shakhunya.

      Experienced forensic investigators and experts from the Volga branch of the forensic center of the Investigative Committee of Russia are working at the crime scene. Witnesses are being interrogated, and those involved in the murder are being identified.

      According to unofficial data, the ex-deputy was shot with a hunting rifle. As reported by the Telegram channel "112", two years ago, Saidov lost his son - he was stabbed in a local cafe. The suspect in the murder has not yet been caught.

      Before being elected to the municipal council of the urban district, Saidov was engaged in entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
