      The authorities of the Lukoyanovsky district received appeals from residents of the village of Tolsky Maidan regarding a herd of wild boars, which, according to them, hinder normal life activities and free movement. Villagers note that these animals have been present in the settlement for the third year, causing damage to household plots and raising concerns among the population. This was reported by "AIF Nizhny Novgorod". According to residents, these boars are not wild forest inhabitants, as they have a presumed owner who periodically feeds them and then allows them to roam freely. Recently, after discovering a resting place for the boars nearby, some parents decided not to send their children to educational institutions.

      Recall that on March 17, 2026, in the city of Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod region, a stray dog attacked local residents for an extended period. Despite citizens' appeals, the animal was never captured, prompting the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region to initiate a criminal case.
