A Nizhny Novgorod resident lost his car for repeated drunk driving.
A resident of the city of Kulebaki lost his car after getting behind the wheel for the second time while intoxicated. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
It is specified that the 64-year-old intoxicated man, who had already been subjected to administrative punishment for a similar offense, was driving a Vortex Estina A21 on Lesnaya Street. This happened on October 25, 2025.
Signs of intoxication were noticed by law enforcement officers who stopped the car. The Nizhny Novgorod resident was detained and taken to the police station for investigation. A criminal case was opened.
As a result, the car was seized and placed in a specialized impound lot. The investigation continues. The offender may also face a fine ranging from 300 to 500,000 rubles.
