Public transport fares in Dzerzhinsk will rise from January 1.
December 30, 2025 10:16 Society Residents of Dzerzhinsk face an increase in municipal transport fares. According to the city administration, from January 1, 2026 the fare for trips on buses and trolleybuses will increase to 38 rubles.
The new price will be fixed regardless of the payment method — cash or bank card. The changes will also apply to the carriage of luggage, which will now be charged at the same fare.
At present the fare on MUP "Express" transport is 32 rubles when paying by card and 34 rubles when paying in cash. Private carriers, meanwhile, already charge 40 rubles per trip.
Recall that in November 2025 the fare on suburban buses increased in the Gorodetsky district. From November 1, 2025 fares on buses in Nizhny Novgorod rose to 40 rubles.
It was also reported that cash payments are planned to be abolished in Dzerzhinsk, Arzamas and Bor from January 1, 2028.
