Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs can assess the effectiveness of government financial support measures.

      Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs are being invited to assess the effectiveness of financial state support measures. Business surveys are conducted on an ongoing basis by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      As noted by the Ministry, a wide range of state support measures for entrepreneurs operate in the region, including concessional loans and guarantees under the federal project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship” of the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy.”

      “It is important that state support, with which SMEs can launch new production lines, expand their workforce and improve product quality, is relevant and effective. Online surveys are one of the tools created for dialogue with business; they allow us to regularly receive feedback from the region’s entrepreneurial community,” said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Companies can assess the convenience and transparency of the procedures for obtaining financial support, the quality of consultations, the completeness of information about the required documents and the requirements for completing them, the amount of financial support, and can also suggest ways to improve.

      Entrepreneurs in the region can take the survey at any convenient time on the Nizhny Novgorod Region investment portal. Registration is not required.

      According to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy” will become the main tool for forming a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and developing the state system of statistics and forecasting.
