Nizhny Novgorod companies received 275 million rubles in preferential loans from "GosMFO" over the first 10 months of 2025.

      November 20, 2025 17:54 Economy — 99 preferential loans totaling 275 million rubles were issued to Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs by a subordinate organization of the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship — ANO “Microcredit Company for the Support of Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region” (“GosMFO”) — over the first 10 months of 2025.

      The organization’s activities are carried out within the framework of the federal project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship” of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy.”

      “Preferential loans are one of the most in-demand business support measures in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Entrepreneurs can choose any of five financing programs and use the funds to replenish working capital, purchase equipment, vehicles or real estate, as well as refinance existing loans. Since the beginning of the year, projects of Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs have been financed for a total of 275 million rubles,” said Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maksim Cherkasov.

      Depending on the required amount, companies can take a loan ranging from 50 thousand to 5 million rubles at rates from 5 to 18 percent per annum. The interest rate depends on the financing program and the recipient’s category. The most favorable conditions are available to entrepreneurs from priority borrower categories. These include SMEs with less than two years’ experience; representatives of the creative industries and exporters; companies operating in manufacturing, the hotel business and public catering, tourism, information technology and communications, as well as enterprises engaged in professional, scientific and technical services, including consulting, engineering, design, research, veterinary, accounting, design and other services.

      The largest number of loans were approved for companies in trade, manufacturing, transport services, construction and tourism.

      Preferential loans from “GosMFO” are available to small and medium-sized enterprises that are registered and operating in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and have no outstanding tax liabilities.
