At the Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N. A. Dobrolyubov, the second day of the Youth Assembly of National Cultures and Peoples of Russia "DruzhNO" came to an end. As the organizers intended, the forum’s bright finale — for the second time — was a gala concert called "vMeste."

The gala concert brought together students from 12 countries around the world, including representatives from India, France, Abkhazia, China, Serbia, Uganda, the Congo, Mongolia, Gabon, Uzbekistan, Belarus and, of course, Russia.

Songs and poems were performed on stage in several languages: Russian, English and French. Participants from the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Privolzhsky Research Medical University and the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory named after M. I. Glinka showcased their talents, performing both classical and contemporary pieces.

There were also vivid dance numbers. Students presented traditional Indian and Abkhaz dances that captivated the audience with their energy and expressiveness.

The special guest of the gala concert was Tulkin Dzhumaev from the military-patriotic club "Vityazi" of the Balakhna District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Together with his five-year-old sons Alexander and Dmitry, he delighted the audience with a rendition of the famous composition "Moscow Nights."

The culmination of the evening was an improvised disco organized by the head of the Department for Youth Policy and Social Communications of NGLU and singer Oleg Pikunov. He performed his original compositions "Romantic Dreams" and "The Graduate," which instantly won the audience’s favor.

"The gala concert 'vMeste' became not only the culmination of the second day of the Youth Assembly, but also a vivid example of how culture can unite people. Mutual understanding, respect for traditions and the desire to share one’s art — that is what makes such events important and unforgettable. The atmosphere of fun and unity filled the hall, and students, regardless of their cultural background, danced and sang together, creating an atmosphere of a true celebration of friendship. This diversity of cultures and traditions created a unique atmosphere where every participant could share a little piece of their homeland," noted the project author, advisor to the rector of NGLU for the promotion of the Russian language abroad, Professor Natalia Makshantseva.

She also emphasized that the Youth Assembly "DruzhNO" showed that despite our differences, we can all be "vMeste," creating a world filled with friendship and mutual understanding.
