An engineer from Nizhny Novgorod's "Polet" died after falling from a staircase.

      A lead engineer at the Nizhny Novgorod enterprise JSC "NPP Polet" died after falling from a staircase. This was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The tragic incident occurred on 10 November 2025 on the organization's premises in the LPK-2 building. While descending a fixed metal staircase, the 59-year-old engineer lost his balance and fell, sustaining a severe traumatic brain injury that proved incompatible with life.

      According to Ilya Moshes, the chief state labor inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and in accordance with the labor legislation of the Russian Federation, the State Labor Inspectorate has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Its aim will be to determine the causes that led to the tragedy.

      Earlier it was reported that a driver of a Nizhny Novgorod company died before the start of a shift.
