      Quarantine for animal rabies was lifted simultaneously in four districts of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. The corresponding order was signed by Governor Gleb Nikitin; the document is posted on the official legal acts portal.

      Since November 7, restrictions no longer apply in the settlement of Gorodetsky and the village of Kiryushino in Gorodetsky District. Quarantine was also lifted in the village of Tanaykovo in Perevozsky District, the village of Gorodishchi in Bolshemurashkinsky District, and the village of Melyaevo in Kulebaki.

      The decision to lift the restrictions was made after the epidemiological situation stabilized in these localities. In connection with this, the regime of enhanced veterinary control was canceled.

      Earlier it was reported that rabies cases had been recorded in 11 municipalities of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
