Bailiffs secured payment of 43.5 million rubles to a supplier from a Nizhny Novgorod plant.

      Bailiffs collected 43.5 million rubles from a Nizhny Novgorod enterprise in favor of a supplier to whom the plant owed money for delivered goods, the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      The enterprise, which manufactures components in the Leninsky District, was required to pay a debt to a legal entity that included the cost of delivered goods, penalties, and compensation for product storage expenses.

      However, the plant did not voluntarily comply with the court's decision. The bailiff then assessed an enforcement fee — more than 3 million rubles. The company's accounts were also blocked, and restrictions were imposed on registration actions involving its real estate and vehicles.

      Despite these measures, the debtor was still in no hurry to settle the debt. The situation changed only after part of the plant's equipment was seized, which was planned to be put up for sale to cover the debt. After that, the company paid the full amount determined by the court.

      Earlier it was reported that a Nizhny Novgorod turnbuckle manufacturer paid more than 18 million rubles for defective products after bailiffs intervened.
