      November 13, 2025, 19:30. Society. Authorities of Nizhny Novgorod have decided to expropriate the land plot and the premises of apartment building No. 31, letter A, on Norvezhskaya Street in the Sovetsky District. The corresponding decree has been signed by the city administration.

      The building was declared unsafe and subject to demolition as early as 2020. According to the document, the expropriation is being carried out for municipal needs. The plot and the objects located on it are co-owned by the residents.

      The Department of Construction and Capital Repairs must organize an appraisal of the market value of the property and determine the amount of compensation to the owners. After that, the administration of the Sovetsky District will send the property owners draft agreements on the expropriation.

      It was previously reported that three historic houses in the center of Nizhny Novgorod are being expropriated from their owners.
