A new utility operator has been established in Nizhny Novgorod.

      A new legal entity has been officially registered in Nizhny Novgorod — a joint-stock company named "United Utilities Operator." The company's formation resulted from the merger of two key city organizations — JSC "Teploenergo" and the municipal enterprise "Nizhny Novgorod Vodokanal."

      According to the press service of the new organization, the registration was carried out by the Federal Tax Service after all necessary legal procedures were completed. The company's charter, which sets out the goals, structure and operating regulations of the merged company, was approved by the city administration.

      The integration of municipal utilities began back in April 2023. The first step was the signing of an agreement under which Teploenergo received Vodokanal's powers for a period of three years. After that, a phased reorganization was carried out, which was completed on October 1, 2025.

      Despite the merger, all company details of JSC "United Utilities Operator" remained unchanged — they are the details of the former Teploenergo. The usual channels of interaction between consumers and the service provider are also being maintained.

      It was previously reported that the project to repair the heating main on Genkina Street in Nizhny Novgorod was approved by the state expert review.
