The Nizhny Novgorod cable car will be closed for three days for maintenance.

From 14 to 16 November 2025, the cable car connecting Nizhny Novgorod and Bor will be temporarily out of service. This was reported by the company "Nizhny Novgorod Cableways".
As previously stated, the suspension is related to scheduled technical maintenance of the main gearbox. These works are necessary to maintain stable and safe operation of the facility.
The timing of the work was chosen to minimize inconvenience to passengers: the maintenance is scheduled for weekend days, when passenger flow is lower than usual.
All standard travel passes will be automatically extended by three days. Concessionary travel passes will remain valid for their established period.
Passengers who need to travel between Nizhny Novgorod and Bor during the suspension are advised to use other modes of transport.
