      Representatives of 20 Nizhny Novgorod companies completed training in the second cohort of the educational program "Export Acceleration." The program is implemented by the Nizhny Novgorod Region Export Support Center (ESC) as part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export." Training is conducted in accordance with the programs of the Russian Export Center (REC). "The Export Support Center provides Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs with comprehensive support in the field of foreign economic activity. Experts organize SMEs' participation in international business missions and exhibitions, hold specialized seminars, help with placing products on international electronic trading platforms, and implement acceleration programs. One of the key educational programs is 'Export Acceleration.' The project allows participants to systematically develop export projects and build the competencies required to enter foreign markets. This year, following the first stage of training, Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs signed two export contracts with companies from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Serbia," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship.

      Other enterprises are exploring the possibility of signing contracts with companies from Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Georgia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, China, Japan, India, Iran, Vietnam, and Armenia. "Since the program began in 2021, employees of 86 companies from the Nizhny Novgorod region have completed the training. As a result of decisions worked out during the events, its participants have signed 56 export contracts totaling USD 5.7 million," emphasized Maxim Cherkasov.

      During the training some companies used the services of the regional Export Support Center: they participated in international exhibition and fair events, in REC international consultations, and also took part in the chemists' forum at "INNOPROM.Belarus."
