A unified city parking system will be created in Nizhny Novgorod.

      Nizhny Novgorod authorities are considering merging all parking facilities in the capital of the Volga Region into a single structure with a unified information system. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional government.

      It is noted that existing paid parking facilities are also planned to be integrated into the unified system.

      Thanks to the unified digital platform, motorists will be able to receive real-time information on parking occupancy, rates and rules of use.

      However, it is too early to talk about launch dates — the project is still in the development stage.

      Earlier it was reported that 93.7 million rubles in fines have been issued to Nizhny Novgorod residents since the beginning of the year for unpaid parking.
