A new residential complex will be built on the site of the Karpovsky Market in Nizhny Novgorod.

On the site where the Karpovsky market once stood, a new residential complex will soon appear. St. Petersburg developer GloraX has purchased a 10.4-hectare plot and is already preparing to start the project.
The future residential complex will be located between Novikova-Priboya and Geroya Popova streets, on the site of the former Karpovsky market, near the bank of the Oka River. The plot is 8.4 km from the city center, 3.4 km from Proletarskaya metro station and 6.9 km from the railway station.
A comfort-class residential complex is planned for the plot. The total built-up area is about 169,000 square meters. Of that, almost 100,000 square meters will be apartments, and the project includes more than 2,400 residential units. The buildings will vary in height — from 9 to 25 floors.
Each courtyard will feature enclosed areas with children's playgrounds. Storage rooms for seasonal items and parking spaces are also planned — their number has been calculated to meet the needs of future residents.
The project will be divided into three phases. Sales of the first phase will begin in the first half of 2027, and construction is expected to be fully completed by 2031.
In addition to residential buildings, the developer will also reinforce the riverbank and develop the waterfront area.
It was previously reported that 420 individual houses will appear in the Bogorodsky district.
