A housing development project for 400 homes was approved in the Bogorodsky District.

A large residential development project has been approved in the northern part of the village of Okhotino, which is part of the Bogorodsky municipal okrug. The Ministry of Urban Development and Agglomeration Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has approved the planning documentation for the site, where nearly 420 single-family homes will be built.
According to the published order, the project covers a plot of 128.5 hectares. Two-story residential houses are planned here — each about 200 square meters.
In addition to housing, the project provides for the creation of necessary social and engineering infrastructure. In particular, a school for 1,500 pupils, a kindergarten for 200 places, as well as a store and a gym are planned.

Non-residential public buildings will also appear on the territory. Among them are a café, a general practitioner’s office, a pharmacy and a local police post. To ensure the functioning of the microdistrict, transformer substations, an artesian well and a network of roads will be built.
The project is expected to be completed by 2035.
Earlier it was reported that several plots near Nizhny Novgorod were put up for auction.
