      The Leninsky District proved to be the most drinking district of Nizhny Novgorod in 2024. This is evidenced by the data in the statistical compendium of the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for 2024.

      At the top of the list of the most drinking districts of Nizhny Novgorod was the Leninsky District – here the level of alcoholism is 4,129.6 cases per 100,000 population. Second place goes to the Kanavinsky District with 4,021 cases per 100,000 population. And finally, rounding out the top three is the Avtozavodsky District – 3,275.8 cases per 100,000 population. The most sober districts were Moskovsky, Nizhegorodsky and Sormovsky.

      Overall, the region has seen a decline in the level of alcoholism. If in 2023 this indicator was 1,655.3 cases per 100,000 population, then in 2024 it was 1,566.3 cases per 100,000 population. At the same time, the lowest level of alcoholism was observed in the Gaginsky District – 82.6 cases per 100,000 population.
