The completion of the design documentation for the construction of a parking lot next to the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin is planned for the beginning of next year. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional government's administrative office.
According to the agency, the preparation of the design and estimate documentation is being carried out by LLC "Petrogradproekt."
"The completion of the design work, and consequently the determination of the final cost of implementing this project, as well as the passage of the documentation through state examination, are planned for the first quarter of 2026," the office clarified.
Earlier it was reported that the preliminary cost of constructing an underground parking garage for 270 spaces would amount to about 700 million rubles. The parking facility will be three-level, with all floors located underground. The project provides for a usable roof, as well as separate entrance and exit. Movement of vehicles between levels will be organized via ramps.
It also emerged that the issue of creating a park in the area of Meshcherskoye Lake has been postponed for now.
