A bypass road on Rodionova Street in Nizhny Novgorod is planned to be put into operation on November 7, 2025, Vesti Privolzhye reported.
The parallel road on the section from Rodionova Street, 15 to the square of the Petrovsky factory is already being actively built. Its length will be 1 km. There will be the usual four lanes; they will simply be shifted from the center. Bus stops will also be moved to the temporary road.
Two traffic lights are currently being installed there — on Donetskaya Street and at the intersection with Pechersky Descent.
In late October, asphalt paving of the road is planned to begin. Road markings will appear by November 3. And traffic will be launched on November 7.
A construction site for the metro turnaround sidings will appear on the site of the existing roadway. They will begin constructing an in‑ground wall for the sidings after the temporary road is completed.
It was reported that almost 774 million rubles will be allocated for the development of the "Ploshchad Svobody" metro station.
We also note that tunneling of the second metro tunnel from Sennaya Square is proceeding ahead of schedule.
