Specialists from the Nizhny Novgorod Center named after Chuykov shared their experience in training UAV operators with colleagues from the new territories of the Russian Federation.

      Specialists from the Training and Methodological Center for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region named after Marshal of the Soviet Union V. I. Chuikov, as part of a working group, visited the new territories of the Russian Federation. They visited the LPR and DPR, the Republic of Crimea, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions to exchange experience in training operators of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for the civilian sector and to present modern multimedia and interactive training equipment.

      “We travel annually to the territories of the subjects of the Russian Federation and present the advanced experience of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in preparing the population to act in various emergency situations,” said the director of the Training and Methodological Center, Igor Prodan.

      Center staff gave a training presentation to rescuers from the LPR, DPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, cadets of the Donetsk Institute of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia, employees of the Mariupol branch of the Donetsk Institute of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia, students of the Khartsyzk Technological College, and personnel of the Sevastopol Fire and Rescue Service.

      Interactive presentations were also organized for the wards and staff of the Feodosiya Interregional Social Rehabilitation Center for Minors, whom the Center’s representatives have visited annually since 2014. The children eagerly trained on simulators using VR goggles, learned about safety measures and rules of conduct following alarm signals.

      During the working trip, agreements on joint activities were concluded with the Khartsyzk Technological College and the Training and Methodological Center for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
