More than 407,000 passengers used the Nizhny Novgorod funicular.

      Since the launch of the funicular in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, 407,504 people have used its services. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the Office of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Over a year of operation the facility has become popular among residents and tourists, the agency added. Total ticket revenue exceeded 94 million rubles.

      The funicular was used particularly actively in August 2025. In that month there were 45,347 trips, and ticket revenue reached 15.3 million rubles.

      Recall that the funicular opened in September 2024; it connects the upper and lower parts of the Kremlin grounds, providing a convenient and picturesque way to travel around the city's historic center.

      Since July 1, the cost of a one-way trip has been 350 rubles.
